Hello again Parents! Hope everything is going well and you are keeping busy during this time at home! Over here there has been a balance of my son keeping me busy (toddler life lol) and me coming up with ideas to keep his creativity going and learning in new ways. Everyday I try to come up with new activities to keep my son busy. If you haven’t seen the last toddler activity, click here.
Sensory play for the other day seen on my IG stories was a “Sticky Wall.”
Items Needed:
First, cut desired length you want for the “sticky wall” out of the con-tact paper. Next, you’ll need a strong tape to tape either the back side of the con-tact paper to a wall or the front and type along the sides. I found that it is best to tape all sides of the con-tact paper from the front (instead of trying to make it look aesthetically pleasing.) Your toddler will probably be rough with the wall so use a strong tape but something that won’t damage the wall. Next, you’ll remove the front side film that will expose the sticky side of the paper. Then you will stick balloons to the wall and let your little one have fun! You could also get creative and add different objects to the wall- such as piper cleaners, etc.
