I frequently get asked about my skincare routine. Since becoming a licensed aesthetician, I follow a pretty “strict” regimen for my morning & night routine. Also, It is extremely important to not go to bed with makeup on!
Morning Routine:
- Cleanse
- Tone
- Serum
- Moisturizer
- Sunscreen – Reapply every 2 hour in direct sun.
Night Routine:
- Cleanse (Double Cleanse)
- Tone
- Eye Cream
- Serums
- Spot Treatments (As needed)
- Moisturizer / Face Oil
The products shown above: All products are from Eminence Organic Skin Care (except for the Toner I use- Hylunia)
- Blueberry Soy Exfoliating Cleanser – This cleanser is great for my Normal to Dry skin. Exfoliating to help me remove dry skin and Soy help keep my skin hydrated. Even though this cleanser is exfoliating, it is gentle enough to use daily. I use it most days morning & night. Occasionally I will mix in a different cleanser on nights that I do an enzyme & masks.
- Colloidal Silver Mist (Toner) – The purpose of toners is to balance the pH in your skin after cleansing. It also helps remove any impurities that your double cleanse might have missed.
- Citrus & Kale Potent C + E Serum – Applied AM & PM. This serum is the most important one I use in my opinion. This serum helps fight off free radical damage while helping improve firmness in your skin.
- Firm Skin Acai Serum- Minimizes the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles! This serum is rich with antioxidants and nourishes the skin.
- Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum – Hyaluronic Acid helps plump your skin and provide a youthful glow! Smells just like strawberries!
- Guava & Bamboo Age Defying Moisturizer – Perfect moisturizer for all skin types and smells AMAZING!!!
- Lilikoi Mineral Defense Sport Sunscreen- This sunscreen has an SPF 30. You want to make sure your sunscreen is at least an SPF 30+. You always want to make sure that you apply sunscreen 15 mins before being in direct sunlight & reapply SPF every 2 hours. Not only will sunscreen give you sun protection but also help with anti-aging. Did you know that UVA- stands for agings rays and UVB stands for burning rays. Be sure to use a sunscreen that is Broad Spectrum to protect from both UVA & UVB rays.
